50th Memorial Dedication
Plans are well in hand for the dedication on 28 January, 50 years to the day of the LARC disaster during the 1974 floods.
The Memorial Dedication to Capt Ian Kerr and Cpl Neville Hourigan will be by the RT Hon The Lord Mayor of Brisbane Councillor Adrian Schrinner.
We hope the 35 Water Transport
Squadron will bring a LARC down from Townsville. This will be like the vehicles used in the 1974 flood relief /evacuation.
